Just A Couple More

Since these files are so big, it makes it hard to email, so i thought I would post a couple more...

Our 1st Official Family Pics

YEAH!! We have gotten our family pictures that we took a couple weeks ago. **WARNING** this blog is pretty long as I posted A LOT of pics (they were too good to leave too many out, hahaha). These were taken when Sarah was 4 weeks old. I still cannot believe how quickly they change and grow. Now I know why there are so many parents who have pics taken frequently :-) Again, these were done by a lady my friend referred me to... she does photography for a hobby (she also did my "fat" pics). I personally think she could go professional.

Also, last week I had MY 6 week check up. It went very well. She said that at least physically I am 100% healed. It felt very weird not being pregnant, or sick. I couldn't believe that it had been 6 weeks already.

Daddy is very busy working and playing with Sarah. Mommy is very busy trying to find a job and take care of Sarah (and play). And Sarah is working very hard at growing as fast as she can. She gains more neck/head muscle every week. This past week she has learned how to smile.... and NOT a gassy smile. Now that she has learned this, she does it all the time :-) It is SO cute!! She also just recently has started snoring sometimes when she sleeps. Daddy does that all the time, so I think she got it from him. It sounds so funny and cute when she does it though!!

That's the update for now. Hope you enjoy the pics as much as we do!! Love to everyone!!!!!!!

A few more pics ;-)

Below are a few more pics that we were able to take this weekend. She is awake more and more so it is getting easier to take pictures. Yesterday we also went to the same lady that took my "fat" pics and took our first "official" family pictures. The lady said that I will have the disk with all of the pics in about a week and a half. Then I will put some of them on the blog.

She does this often - I hope it doesn't stay a habit (hahaha)

Look at those cheeks! Where did they come from?

She actually has eyes - ha ha ha!!

This morning Miss Sarah actually was wide awake without crying, so I was able to get a couple pictures showing her eyeballs :-) She is such a precious little baby and brings great joy to Brandon and I. We love to sit and watch her... she has such expressions on her face and sometimes makes the funniest noises!! Today marks 4 weeks that she has been here, although her one month isn't until the 14th. We are just having such a blast with her!!

She's Official ;-)

Well, this afternoon in the mail was Sarah's social security card. I can't believe it - she is official. These almost 4 weeks have gone by so quickly for us and yet it still seems like just yesterday. Everything is going fairly well so far - the past couple days have been a little more rough though. The other night she was just a bear all night and all the following day. Last night we got a little more sleep which was MUCH needed. Other than when she is cranky, she is our little "monkey". She moves around so much and her muscles are so incredibly strong. We have been putting her on tummy time every night to help strengthen her muscles as well and the other night, she flipped over from her back to her stomach... ALL ON HER OWN!!!! The worst part is that I MISSED it. I ran out to run a couple errands and I am not gone more than 10 mins when Brandon told me she just flipped over. She has not done it since though, so who knows if it was a fluke. She has been getting stuck on her side and then ends up flopping back on her back. I don't remember if I have mentioned in previous postings, but she can lift her head up for a while and turns it from side to side. Then her muscles give out and she ends up head butting us - hahaha! Sarah has been a little more awake lately but I have not been able to get new pics with her eyes open. She had been so cranky for a few days that when her eyes were open, she was making a mean face or was crying. Today was a good day as far as crankiness, but since she also missed out on lots of sleep, that's pretty much what she did today. We will hopefully start being able to get some good pictures and then we will post them up!!
